Vangie Williams- 1st District, Virginia

Vangie Williams has a fight on her hands and we will be there to help. This non- career politician and new commer with deep Virginian roots has made a long career in strategic planning while raising six daughters! She is a fierce defender of women’s reproductive rights and has proposed that hospitals do a better job of responding to victims of sexual assault and domestic violence.

Vangie managed to overcome homelessness at an early age, and a bankruptcy as an adult when she and her husband spent their life savings taking care of one of their daughters. She is a female force to be reckoned with- one who will represent all Virginians unlike her opponent who is in lock step with the misogynist Trump Administration.

Mallory Hagan- 3rd District, Alabama

All of her life, Mallory Hagan has been an advocate for abused women and children. She gets it- because like so many women, sexual abuse and harassment has played a role in shaping the trajectory of our lives as it did hers. Virtually all the women in her close knit family are survivors of sexual abuse and because of this, Mallory has testified and lobbied on behalf of rape victims and abuse survivors of all over the country and in her state of Alabama for years. Needless to say, Mallory is thrilled to set the record straight and represent the women who rescued her state from the grips of Roy Moore. Literally. Moreover, Mallory was at the forefront of the resignation of Miss America CEO Sam Haskell in December of 2017 after it was revealed that he wrote and sent vulgar emails regarding Mallory’s physical appearance. A woman who has always spoken truth to power and supported the passing of legislation and policies sure to protect survivors of abuse needs our help! Wanna talk about shaking up the patriarchy??? Then let’s help bad-ass navy pilot and mother of four Mikie Sherrill oust her competition. After leaving the U.S. Attorney’s office after the spring of 2016, Sherrill planned to go into criminal justice reform but then, the election happened. Looking into the faces of her children, she felt called to action. Compelled to lead and salvage the country she has served her whole life as an officer and prosecutor, Mikie scoffs at the panels of white old men making decisions about women’s health in New Jersey and around the nation. Let’s help push her over the finish line with some dynamic and creative social media video this fall!

Gina Ortiz Jones- 23rd District, TEXAS

While serving her country working for the Trump Administration on economics and national security issues, it wasn’t very long before Gina realized that new government hires she worked with were not “interested in neither the public nor service,” so she quit. But this amazing woman and candidate is no quitter. If elected, Gina will be the first openly gay, Iraq War veteran who also happens to be the child of a Filipino immigrant, single mom and public school teacher. A crossing guard volunteer at the women’s marches, Gina sprang into action and is ready to represent ALL of us in Washington. Gina says, “The fact that Congress is 80% white and 80% male when that’s so far from what the rest of the country looks like. That’s the real issue”. We think it’s time to flood the internet and 23rd District of Texas with some videos that will champion Gina and the women she will fight for once she gets to DC!
